2. Data Processing in the App
HealthKit / Apple Health
The Zenith app accesses health and fitness data in Apple Health (HealthKit) with your explicit permission. The following applies:
- The app reads workout data (e.g. type, duration, distance, calories) from Apple Health
- The app can save new workouts to Apple Health if you initiate this within the app
- All data remains exclusively on your device — no data is transmitted to external servers
- Your health data is not used for advertising, tracking, or any other purpose
- You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in iPhone Settings under Privacy & Security → Health → Zenith
Local Data Storage
The app stores only app settings and preferences (e.g. enabled features, onboarding status) locally on your device via the standard UserDefaults mechanism. This data is only accessible to the app and does not leave your device.
No Analytics or Tracking Services
Zenith uses no analytics services (such as Firebase, Mixpanel, etc.), no advertising services, and no cross-app tracking. No usage statistics are collected or transmitted.
3. This Website (myzenith.de)
Hosting
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you access the website, connection data (IP address, timestamp, page accessed) is automatically stored in the host's server log. This data is not merged with other data and is deleted after a maximum of 7 days.
No Cookies
This website does not use cookies.
Analytics (GoatCounter)
This website uses GoatCounter (GoatCounter, Martin Tournoij, Netherlands) for privacy-friendly visitor analytics. GoatCounter sets no cookies and stores no IP addresses. Only aggregated, non-personal data is collected:
- Page visited and time
- Referral source (e.g. Google, direct)
- Approximate country (derived from IP, IP is immediately discarded)
- Browser type and device category (aggregated)
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in improving the website). GoatCounter respects the browser's "Do Not Track" signal. More information: goatcounter.com/help/privacy
Contact Form (Formspree)
The contact form on this website is operated by Formspree (Formspree, Inc., 462 1st Ave, San Francisco, CA 94118, USA). When you submit the form, the data you enter (name, email address, subject, message) is transmitted to Formspree and forwarded to our email address.
- Purpose: Processing your contact request
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (processing a request at your initiative)
- Retention period: Data is deleted after the request is completed, at most after 30 days at Formspree
- Formspree Privacy Policy: formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy
Alternatively, you can contact us directly by email at hello@myzenith.de — no data is transmitted to third parties this way.
Contact by Email
If you contact us directly by email, the data you provide (email address, message content) will be used exclusively to process your request and will not be shared with third parties. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. The data is deleted once the request has been completed.

This website uses HTTPS encryption (SSL/TLS). The app does not transmit any data over the internet.

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy as needed. The current version is always available on this page.
